Georgian Alphabet & Heritage Monuments

Georgia is a land of stone churches and tall towers. Sixteen of them are waiting on these pages. Cut them out, fold them, glue them – and a little Georgia grows on your table. The colours look like real stone, roof tiles and metal roofs.

  • 16 models on big colour sheets
  • Help on the back of every sheet: pictures of the parts, sizes, steps
  • For every building: a 3D view and an elevation. For every church: a page of history and legends
  • The Georgian alphabet: 33 letters with Asomtavruli, transliteration and writing practice
  • A big relief map of Georgia

For builders from about 10. Younger children build with a grown-up.

Children’s books with fairy tales from many countries and traditions – not only from Georgia.

About Chiora Books

Chiora Books makes books for curious people of every age: paper models to cut and build, workbooks to learn from, and fairy tales for children.

Our first two books are about Georgia: its churches, its towers and its letters. The models, drawings and instructions are our own designs. We simplified the real buildings, so not every detail is to scale.
